Life lately: Resetting, Growing & Finding my Flow
![]() |
You know that point when you just want to press a reset button on life, yeah?..
That’s the point I’ve found myself in the past weeks, so this is just me deciding to be intentional about the soft change I’ve been craving.
I’m making my first blog post of the year 2025, and I’ll like you to hold me accountable on this journey.
Throwback to 2014-2019 when I used to mock my mom for being an introvert, I would say “I’m an extrovert, I like to relate with people”. Which is so funny because now I find it hard to be around people who are not family
I find myself craving alone time and not wanting to socialize with anyone
I am now viewing relating with people as a chore. I’m not regretting it or complaining infact I’m happy I finally got to the stage where I don’t require people to be around me…. I find so much peace and comfort in my own company.
Even while pressing the reset button, I want to do a lot of things more and some things less
I want to be kinder and considerate than I already am because there is just so much love one can give out to others and make the environment more comfortable and conducive.
Instead of Judging people without prior knowledge of their situation?.. I would rather make excuses for them ✨ and I don’t care who feels they might be using me because regardless, being kind doesn’t have any negative impact on me, it infact makes me feel better about myself.
Someone said to me about three weeks ago;- “There is no police to life”
But we are not ready for this discussion just yet.
I used to think I needed a big dramatic change to feel like I was “getting my life together ” but I realized having control over my own actions and reactions is also a big step.
So if you ever feel overwhelmed, don’t wait till that one big move comes before you start making changes. Start small and you would be able to handle a big move better ✨π
This is a sign to sit up and take control over what you can in your life π
In my next post I’ll be sharing my daily/weekly self care tips I have adopted to making my life my own aesthetic ❤️ In the mean time share your opinions in the comment section π
NB: I’ll stop here for now but you can check previous posts π
Stay Tuned and I’ll see you in my next post
Thanks for Reading
Love,
Machiπ
