In five years, where do you see yourself?

A fellow blogger messaged me and asked for an interview.

She raised a subject that piqued my curiosity and I thought I'd share it with my readers 

Our conversation went thus;endeavour to read till the end

[08/04, 20:55] Reniwrites: Nice to meet you, dear

[08/04, 20:56] Reniwrites: If you don't mind, I'd love to ask a few questions

[08/04, 20:56] Kiekie's Corner: Sure go ahead

[08/04, 20:59] Reniwrites: As this is a tech world as they say, and it's obviously gonna develop into a more 'tech-ish' and it seems, Nigeria isn't catching up well with the rate at which tech is emerging, where do you think you'd find yourself as a Nigerian in 5 years time?

[08/04, 21:01] Kiekie's Corner: As a Nigerian....

[08/04, 21:01] Kiekie's Corner: Wow 😂

[08/04, 21:01] Reniwrites: Yes ma'am

[08/04, 21:03] Kiekie's Corner: Ok so um...

In five years, I envision myself graduating with a new degree and having the funds to launch a new venture.

Due to the fact that employment in Nigeria is not particularly advantageous for individuals 

[08/04, 21:04] Reniwrites: True but you'd obviously start from working with someone so as to gain experience, don't you?

[08/04, 21:05] Kiekie's Corner: I believe that's where the benefit of having worked as an intern while in school comes in.

But I must agree you are right ✅

[08/04, 21:06] Kiekie's Corner: However, I could also manage my own business while working.

[08/04, 21:07] Reniwrites: Quite interesting

[08/04, 21:07] Reniwrites: And what do you plan on doing?

[08/04, 21:08] Kiekie's Corner: The job or the business?

[08/04, 21:09] Reniwrites: Both

[08/04, 21:09] Kiekie's Corner: A paediatrician

[08/04, 21:09] Reniwrites: What do you plan on venturing into?

[08/04, 21:09] Kiekie's Corner: Medical sciences

[08/04, 21:10] Kiekie's Corner: Along side writing

[08/04, 21:11] Reniwrites: So you love children 🥹

[08/04, 21:11] Reniwrites: Wow🥹

You a blogger?

[08/04, 21:12] Kiekie's Corner: Alot 

And I have the flair to just take care of them and listen to them talk all the time

[08/04, 21:12] Kiekie's Corner: I just want to make sure children are healthy and happy 

[08/04, 21:12] Kiekie's Corner: And Yes I am a blogger 

Just like you

[08/04, 21:15] Reniwrites: And how do you plan on doing both together?

[08/04, 21:16] Kiekie's Corner: If I kee up my consistency, I think I'd be a Figure in five years.

a role model for the younger generation

I would thus write not only for my blog but also for books.

[08/04, 21:17] Kiekie's Corner: E-books,paperbacks,and hopefully they'd be bestsellers

[08/04, 21:18] Kiekie's Corner: I could write medical contents 

And self help contents for children

[08/04, 21:22] Reniwrites: Wow

[08/04, 21:22] Reniwrites: Youths like you are really rare in this generation

[08/04, 21:23] Kiekie's Corner: 😂Is that a compliment?

[08/04, 21:24] Reniwrites: Very much a compliment ma'am

[08/04, 21:25] Kiekie's Corner: Thank you 😊

[08/04, 21:36] Reniwrites: Thank you for your time ma'am

[08/04, 21:37] Kiekie's Corner: Alright mate

NB:It has also come to my notice that most Youths and teenagers out there do not have ambitions and are yet to decide what they want in life.

I am using this medium to encourage you to think and meditate within yourself and decide where you want to be in life and how you want to achieve it. 

Be determined, do not let your guard down, and do not accept life as it is.

You own your own fate. 

And as a Wise Woman always says "It is not about how fast,It's about how well"

So take your time and don't rush.
